I've animated comic book covers in the past,
but I recently realized I've never done a Kirby cover! That seems
wrong. So, today is the day I remedy that.

It's not just that you animate them that makes these great, it's also that you know what to animate. It takes a lot to make me look at such a familiar Jack Kirby cover as if I'm seeing it for the first time...but your choices here made me do exactly that. Bravo.
(If you return to Kirby in future, I'd be interested to see what you make of some Kirbytech. He designed it to look moving and alive, so it would be fun to see that put into effect. Though it would take a huge amount of time and effort to create, so I'll understand if it doesn't happen soon...)
