As you may know, the radioactive isotope that blinded Daredevil also gave him other heightened abilities. I found a segment, in Daredevil #167, that talks about his "hyper-senses". (Though I'm not sure how anyone can taste a number.)
Have you ever wondered if his super hypersensitivity extends to his temperament? I like to think it would...

Let's approach the Marvel Universe with the Woodstone principles. I'll assume positive intent and say that Daredevil is able to taste the specific amount of sodium in each pretzel and thereby determine the number of grains needed for that amount to be reached.
But I never got the DD thing, either.
