I recently obtained a collection of over-sized DC comics from the 1970's. The group included
Limited Collections' Edition #3, which contained a Golden Age feature titled
"Cartoon Flips starring Superman."
The page had instructions for cutting out, stacking, and flipping the images, but with our magical computers of 2010, I decided to make animated GIFs instead.
Wow, it's like I'm standing in the same room with him! Too bad DC hasn't continued with such fun activities for the kids in the Modern Age.
Oh! I've got it! How about
a Cartoon Flip starring Wonder Woman, repeatedly breaking Maxwell Lord's neck...
My first thought after seeing that would to do a spoof of Superman using one of those Shake Weight® devices. (https://www.shakeweight.com/flare/next)
ReplyDeleteThose things are wrong.
ReplyDeleteI just read Halo and Sprocket for the first time! I love it! Very humorous. I will recommend it to all. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteHahahahaha!
ReplyDeleteNice.
Mostly i like how Superman has a grossly enlarged tumor on his right shoulder before bending the I-beam, then it's magically healed after.
ReplyDeleteBut he is Superman, he is the strongest man in the planet, he is capable of bending anything he wants, except kryptonite.
