Kerry, I'm an old friend of Larry DeGraff's. He showed me your strips from the KC Star, and your cat-with-a tail-in-the-door strip years ago. They were hilarious and memorable. I knew there were hopes to someday expand on the first 4 comics, but I didn't know you had done so much more. You are a delightfully funny artist. I don't know if you have it in you to do the sacrificial work of a regular strip, but the talent and quality is definitely worthy of a big syndicated contract for you. Alas, as it is in music, art, and books, those with the most talent don't necessarily reach the success they should.
I'm having a great time exploring this blog site tonight (albeit painfully slowly on dialup internet). I think I'm going to have to buy Volume 2.
Thanks for sharing your skewed perspective. It's fun to laugh this much.
Thanks for your kind words, David! I'm glad you enjoy the work I (sporadically) do. It's hard to say who should succeed in music, art, and books. It's all so subjective...
I have no response.

I am Nomad ... I am perfect ... must sterilize.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Ogre.
ReplyDeleteI did think of Star Trek, Kevin.
